Belgrave House Baird Road Corby Northants, NN17 5ZA – SOLD

TDB Real Estate are pleased to announce the sale of the above premises comprising approximately 33,500 sq ft.

The premises were originally purpose build by W&J Parker as a meat processing facility, and more recently have been used as a pastry manufacturing plant.

TDB acted on behalf of Bakeaway and the unit was sold to Corby based Insignia Manufacturing Ltd in the sum of £1.4m in an off market transaction.

As part of the overall deal TDB negotiated a leaseback to Bakeaway at a nominal rent, for a short period whilst they relocated to their new purpose built facility at Centrix Park just a few hundred meters away.

Mark Brown at TDBRE commented “TDB acted on behalf of Bakeaway in respect of the acquisition of their new 90,000 sq ft facility, however the disposal of Baird Rd was an important factor, and obtaining the short lease back has been invaluable”.
